Messages sent on behalf of businesses using Isla. Businesses and healthcare practices that use Isla may send text messages through Isla to their own customers or patients, such as appointment reminders, confirmations, and links to complete intake forms. These messages identify the business sending them. The business collects the recipient’s mobile number and consent to receive texts, and Isla records that consent. Isla does not use these phone numbers for its own marketing and does not sell or share them with third parties for marketing. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from that business, START to resubscribe, or HELP for help.
Health information. When a healthcare practice uses Isla, patient information is processed on the practice’s behalf and protected under our agreements with that practice and applicable law, including HIPAA where it applies. Text messages never include diagnoses or treatment details.
